Right, today is friday, I left the house in a mess, because I had a meeting with someone, I was in a rush. This week, I managed to fast 2 days leaving me with another 2 days to 'ganti puasa'. I am not fasting today, after I had been continously fast for the past 2 days. I feel like 'raya' today.

Well, God has promised that if we fast, we will have two happiness, one is when we break our fast and another one is when one day we meet Him. Fast always have a special place in our religion, and there is nothing that the people who believe in this religion want to do apart from something special. I fast because from my past experience, I could control myself more. And of course different people have different reason for that and they are entitled to their reasons. But in my case, with fasting I learn to appreciate more the meaning of life, the basic things like food and water that are important to us, but hardly we appreciate it.

I would like to thank 'dari selatan UK' for giving me the neverending soul support during my difficult times. InsyaAllah, I pray the same for you. For the difficulties that I have been going through, the only thing that I do not want to loose is the 'iman'. Yes I had tried my best with the prayers and zikirs, but I am not a strong person to do much more than I could, because I am scared, if one prays so much during one's difficult times, one may defeat the purpose of prayers if the prayer was not answered, one may loose the 'iman', by putting the blame on 'why me'. But InsyaAllah I will continue pray and keep on praying. I also pray that other do not have to came through the hard way like I have been experiencing.

Last night someone had made a special request to eat curry, but the curry should use yogurt instead of 'santan'. Coming from the place where curry form part of their gastromical culture, he loves curry so much, or anything that is related to curry and indian spices. Last night he requested me to make 'kari kedah'. I had the kind of look in my face, what kari! The chicken curry was finally ready for our dinner last night, but I am not sure whose curry was that, probably 'baba's curry' is more appropriate because I was using the spices from that packet.

I do not come from a family that has curry in every gastronomic activity, so making curry was a big challenge for me. But alhamdullillah, my curry now is so much better than my initial attempts after having so many lessons and tips from so many people, especial those that come from penang. Last night he was having 'his fingers licking good'.
