Burung berkicau

Setelah sekian lama aku rindu pada kicauan burung-burung dipagi hari. Sering menyatakan hasrat ini pada suami. How much does it cost to have birds in the morning? The sound of peaceful life. How long do I have to wait to have a day that when I wake up, I will hear the birds and I have the whole day doing nothing? It is really xpensive? Do we have to really endure the hardship in order to have the peaceful life?

This morning, I woke up with the sound of birds chipping outside the bedroom. I wonder where did the birds come from, because I have never heard the sound before. What a pleasure morning!

We went to fish mrk bought the salmon trimmings. The leftover that no one wants to eat. The leftover that is only suitable for the animal. But we bought it because it was the cheapest item that we can find here. We bought a lot because we did not know when we will be able to come here again.

The fishmonger was surprised to the purchase. We told him, be bought it for our cats. My husband added in saying that we have 10 cats at home. I could see his face. The face that seeked the truth to the statement. I amended the situation telling that we have 5 cats the rest are stray cats. We boiled the salmon, and the cats are looking forward to it. He kept on scooping the trimming by being generous for our 'cats'. But in reality, we only have one spoiled cat and the purchase was for us.

If we told the truth, we lost the respect with these people. Masuk kandang kambing mengembek, masuk kandang lembu menguak. Papatah melayu yang ada kenanya di sini.

After that, we went to veg shop. The shop the sell the veg from local area. So we will normally find the veg that do not even pass the industrial standard. The type of veg that you straight know that it comes from someone backyard with odd shapes and forms. But we know that veg is fresh. We called the shop kedai mak chik lanun, because the lady at the shop counter has a blindfold in one of her eyes. Today, she was not in, we had a man entertaining us. But still it is kedai mak chik lanun for us.
