Presentation

Of all the things that make me gloomy today, including the weather, there is one thing that brings in the sunshine. That bring the smile today, the presentation.

I was glad that I did not chicken out when Christina offer me to give a presentation about my work to her MSC class. I thank John for his last minute spot check on my typing error. I had 5 slides with me. I went out early because I did not know where was the room. My roomates was not that helpful in giving the location. Completely useless in fact. Later I found out that the room was in a new building. No wonder they never heard of it.

Christina suggest the talk to last for about 30mins. With 5 slides, so it would be about 5 min per slide. I completed the presentation in about 20 min, but the discussion went on and on. I never thought these people were interested in the work. Even Christina was very positive about it when giving out the respond. It turned out that the whole session lasted for 45 min.

I got the book that George suggested. I was glad because that was the exact book and that was the only one in the library. The book was literally waiting for me on the shelf.
