Hilang! ![]() So unbearable! The last weekend was one of the most hectic weekend ever. One saturday, we were planning to do some shopping for food - fruits and veg and if time permitted, we were planning to go hunting for baju raya for faten as promised on the phone the other day. But it was late by the way. Went down and out as usual searching for our car. We always had to search for our car, because there was no specific place to park the car by the road. Sometimes we have to park far away from the house. But that saturday, the car was nowhere to be found. We had been walking along the road and around the other street as well in case he forgot where did he park the car. As usual, he always forgot where did he park the car. But normarlly he would not be parking far away from our house. But the was no sight of the car. He told me that he park the car right in front of our house when he came back from work around 10.30pm. There was no way the car had been moved somewhere else. But we had to accept that, when we could not find something, especially something as big as a car, when it was supposed to be parked around our area, we declared that the car was stolen. We were not really depressed about it. We were sort of accept that the car was stolen. It did not come into surprise to me in particular, because we had been having those kind of unexpected incindents most of the time. Life is about having the unexpected. Some come as surprises, some turn out to be shocks to the life. Whatever it is, Allah is with us. We were just annoyed, because who was or were the idiot(s) who stole the car, when the petrol tank meter showed an empty sign, and the drive door needed replacement! It was sad to lose the car! We made a police report and was given reference number for claiming the insurance. We had to walk now to do the shopping. It was late by that time when we sorted everything. But nothing can be done until monday. We were carless. We had to walk now everywhere. Back to square one, when we have to rely on our own two feet to carry us around. When we have to burn our calories not pertrol! Walking is good for you. I had to convince him more about it. Went to work, and came back at 10pm. I was so tired, fancied myself hot bath and straight to bed, but our bedroom had turn out to be a common room for our guest and our downstairs neighbour hunting over the web for our car replacement. Tough luck! My energy level had gone to minus, after rushing around on the shopfloor for 8 hours hopping between the toilets! I hate mikey, for being such a monkey! How could he left me to be by myself on the shopfloor with the frantics shoppers! They dropped almost everything, not to mention the sources and broken eggs on the floor, sugar, and raisins! On sunday, I took my day off, hoping to have lazy day at home. But that day had been taken by the new comers. They asked me to help them doing the cooking - mee curry. I cooked for about 30 poeple with the help of the students of course. There was noway I was going to cook by myself. But the curry was not that nice because we had to use the english curry powder, supplied by the indian grocery shop here. If only we have malaysian curry powder! In the evening we went to Ria's house, to teach sembahyang for the family. We had sembahyang magrib and insya together. Anak sendiri tak de, anak orang kami menumpang kasih. Aiman, Adila and Thara. John and Ria offered us their car for time being before making the claim for the stolen car. Today, I am still craving for my lost weekend. I went for shopping, searching for baju raya for Faten, I got myself some clothing as well. Paid my water bill at the same time. My account has gone bankrupt now. Have to be extra careful with my penny from now on. He decided not to go to work today because he wanted to sort out the insurance and everything. Atas batu jemala patek@ 2004-10-11;1:58 p.m. |
